This level effectively leads the response, using the ICS structure, and interface with other IC’s in a unified command.
Demonstrate knowledge, use of, and effective leadership skills through National Incident Management System (NIMS) characteristics, each of which contributes to the strength and efficiency of the overall incident command system. Demonstrate skills in teaching (preparation, instruction, facilitation & class management, assessment), developing training content (in a range of formats including multimedia & for different learning styles), building a network (with personal examples of success) and building rapport with others (including guest teachers, visiting students, providing constructive feedback and industry professionals).
Re-certification of this credential (to ensure your credential reflects the latest industry needs and standards) is required every three (3) years.
You do not need to be a member or graduate of UARD to gain this credential.
