The University of Applied Research & Development has a number of international accreditations and quality affiliations that increase opportunities for our graduates.

Accreditation in the United Kingdom

Our original United Kingdom accrediting body, NOCN, for all qualifications and licenses awarding organizations from OfQual.

 

Graduates of UARD bachelor’s degrees may enroll in Masters of Public Health, Masters of Human Resources and Master of Arts in Clincial Mental Health Counseling degrees with Hamilton Holt School at Rollins College.

UARD bachelor degree holders may enter the Masters level qualifications in design and fine arts with the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, studying in the USA.

Graduate & Doctoral Pathways in the United Kingdom

UARD is accredited with the NOCN Group, which is recognised by York St John University as an Ofqual approved Awarding and Certifying Body in the United Kingdom. Graduate students holding UARD qualifications and accreditation from either NOCN Group will be considered as eligible for admission to appropriate higher-level courses offered by York St John University.

NOCN Group, the UARD’s UK accrediting body is recognised by the University of Sunderland as an Ofqual approved Awarding and Certifying Body in the United Kingdom. NOCN is also recognised by the University of Sunderland. Graduates of UARD holding qualifications are eligible for admission to appropriate higher-level courses offered by Sunderland University.

IAEM is an official training partner, with exam certification embedded into Emergency Management courses

The IDRiM Society and its Journal (IDRiM Journal) were officially launched on October 15, 2009 in Kyoto, Japan, at the 9th IIASA-DPRI Forum on Integrated Disaster Risk Management (IDRiM Forum). The launching of the IDRiM Society was promoted also by many national and international organizations including Beijing Normal University, International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES), National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention (NIED), the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UN/ISDR), the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (JRC/EC) and other organizations.

Graduates of UARD bachelor’s degrees may enroll in master’s degrees with Taft University and master’s degrees may additionally enroll in the Doctor of Education and Doctor of Business Administration. Graduates of UARD bachelor’s degrees may directly enroll in graduate programs (MBA, MPH, MEd) with Taft University.
