The Master of Education is created by experienced, practicing educators and leaders who want to develop their professional impact. This qualification is particularly suited to current and aspiring leaders within education.

This is advanced study and not an initial teacher education, therefore educators must be working in schools, universities or community learning centres or have a minimum of 3-years suitable experience

Entry Requirements

A suitable bachelor degree from a reputable institution equivalent to Level 6

Be currently employed in an educational institution or have more than 3 years professional educational experience

3Di School New Zealand

3Di School NZ, headed by Amar Dangi and Ms Srijana has been in operation in India and Nepal for the past 10 years.

This unique, 21st century learning programme offers students from grade 1 to 12 the chance to learn animation, creativity, photography and movie-making right in their very-own school.

Dr Craig Hansen (UARD Director) has provided academic directorship and programme development for the past ten years while 3Di was in development, moving from the first location in Delhi (India) to now being in 100 schools in Nepal in 2020!

The UARD Masters in Education is offered to educators, teachers and principals in schools in Nepal that are part of the 3Di network, receiving generous scholarships and sponsorships, to enable maximum impact in the community that 3Di serves, as part of a high-tech-low-cost model research project.

The University of Applied Research & Development is delighted to have Sanskriti International School, John Dewey School, Apex Life School and Rajarshi Gurukul School as foundation partner schools in Nepal. Educators and school leaders are enrolled in the Master of Education programme, in addition to a number of excellent, motivated teachers from other schools in Kathmandu. Each educator has agreed to fully participate in the research project focused on high-tech, low-cost delivery of international, post-graduate programmes with UARD.
