Advice for military veterans moving into civilian life

Take advantage of veterans’ benefits: Many veterans are eligible for benefits such as education and training programs, home loans, and health care.

Network: Connect with other veterans and organizations that can help with the transition to civilian life.

Develop a plan: Identify your goals and create a plan for achieving them. This could include going back to school, finding a job, or starting a business.

Seek out mental health support: The transition to civilian life can be difficult, and many veterans struggle with mental health issues such as PTSD. Make sure to seek out the appropriate support and resources.

Be patient and persistent: The transition to civilian life can take time, and you may encounter setbacks. Stay patient and persistent, and don’t give up on your goals.
